Deathstar Nearly Complete.
Hey all,
Phase one of the new set for Ask Palpatine is nearly complete. It’s not quite as polished as I’d have liked, but I think it’ll do nicely, and photograph well (especially on the web-sized resolutions we’re pumping it out as). Today’s got me a bit nervous, because as I finish the set, the next step is to hang it, and this’ll be the first big test of my extensible set-design system.
So, basically, it’ll either work amazingly well, or my next post will feature a photo of the collapsed and broken set framework.
This is what the set looks like currently:
Future plans include building a chair for Palpatine to sit on — an Emperor needs his throne — and building two Imperial guards to stand watch over him.
